A Bird And a Holdover

Sorry about the lack of posts--the past few months have been busy and now I'm in England! But more pictures shall abound. Here's one I quite liked that I took yesterday while visiting Dover.

A Nice View Or Two

First looking up: a picture I took while standing under one of the pyramid thingies at the Louvre.



Next is the view through the top Gherkin Building (also known as the Swiss Re building) in the business district in London. It's big and tall and made entirely of glass, and the only reason I got to take this picture is because my mom works for Swiss Re so someone wanted to show her the office and the view from the top floor while we were there:

Especially at night. This was while looking out at the beach while staying at Cape Cod last summer. One of the shadows is me.

Another Winter Picture

A Year Later

A year ago when making the decision whether or not to go to UNC I took this picture of the arboretum with my then really crappy camera, which was slow enough that it could actually take swirly pictures. I really like it, though. It's kind of trippy.
